lockdown paintings

by | Feb 23, 2021

During the last year, as both Alan and I have had to be shielding throughout, I took the opportunity to NOT WORK for most of the year. For the first time ever, my workroom remined closed and we all (actually, the dogs were of no help whatsoever) spent as much of the year out working in the garden as we could. With 2021 approaching, and the weather really too bad to be outside for a good while, I opened up my workroom, cleared away the cobwebs and polished up my palette knives. With renewed energy I have embarked on 2 projects: the first is a series of unframed small paintings or paint sketches (mostly) on canvas board. These are all priced at an affordable £95 plus P&P. The second project has been to work on more unframed paintings on board. Again, they are much cheaper than they would have been if framed.   In fact, because Alan has now retired from picture framing, this is the way that I’m going to present my work in future, unless exhibiting somewhere, and it makes the pieces a lot cheaper and easier to post.  I hope you like them!
